just got a 1999 2.3 glx galaxy and with it not having tinted rear windows thought I'd buy a parcel shelf from ebay but having ordered it I cant see an anchor point for one so does anyone know does a glx model for 1999 have an anchor point for a parcel shelf ? sorry if it sounds stupid but as a mechanic I'm a great chef lol cheers rob any help would be much appreciated

    shame you didnt post up in here before you bought it,as i have 2 of the things sitting in my garage collecting dust.

    right the answer to your question is.......quite a bit of work involved im afraid,

    iirc you have to remove the rear side trim and on the back of it is indentations for the cutouts etc,but you have to obtain the clips/kit separately,and as the mk1s and 2s are getting fairly old now i would assume the kit is getting fairly rare?

    on another forum im on im sure there is VERY detailed info on how to do all of this,if you want to pm me ill point you in the right direction ;)
