Do what I did when mine was going--just put a couple of litres in at a time--you get some strange looks at the pumps but it's better than leaving precious petrol in your motor isn't it! :P

Oh I can only dream of getting my call like that . . . weeks to wait yet

We were the same, practically were running on empty when we traded our Focus for the Fiesta, lol, well, why trade in what you don't have to!! :D especially when the tight gits only gave us £10 of Diesel for our new baby, lol.

That's great to hear. You'll love it.

Yep I totally love it and nope my mum's not been in since. I bought a blind spot mirror the other day which has made it alot better when overtaking.

Scrapped my wife's last car that had nearly a full tank in, head gasket had gone so couldn't do much with that, and my last car was a bit early and that had over half a tank in, not going to do it a 3rd time.

Shame you couldn't have syphoned the petrol out.............. ;)

A full tank of petrol could be worth €40-€50 depending on the car--some would say that I'm just tight but, to quote Tesco's saying, every little bit helps!
