59 Reg Fiesta Style+ Ambient Thermometer And Ice Warning Light

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

New to Ford and to the forum so was wondering if you could help me out here.

I recently purchased a 59 reg Fiesta Style+ and I noticed that there is no ambient thermometer display (I don't mean the engine temperature, it doesn't have that either but that's OK) and also it doesn't have an ice warning light. The car has been in -5C temps over xmas and there was no ice warning light, whilst all other family cars had theirs on.

Is this correct on this model or am I missing something here? I've located the ambient temp sensor on the front of the car, behind the bumper passenger side and it appears that a have a plastic blank (dummy) rather than a sensor.

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. Surely either a warning light or thermometer (or both) should exist...

Cheers.
