I've recently changed to Texaco Premium deisel (last 2 tank fulls) after using Morrisons supermarket fuel for over 2 1/2 years and can not believe the difference now it is getting chance to work through the system.

First thing I've noticed is the exhaust fumes do not smell half as bad.

Secondly, exhaust smoke has defiantly reduced under load.

And thirdly, the engine just feels smother.

I use the car mostly for shortish runs so I know that it may be getting a bit sooted up so today it had a good run down the motorway....It was comfortable at 75 - 80 mph and when i was plodding at 60 mph it was achieving ( according to computer ) high 60's mpg.

Ok, I know it costs about 27p a litre more than supermarket fuel, but I generally only fill up every 3 - 4 weeks so this extra, to me, is well worth it.

Has anyone else found similar.

    Can't say I have, although I've been using Texaco bog standard diesel the last few times - purely as it's cheaper than everywhere else inc supermarkets...
