Hi all, new member here, highly recommend by family !

Have acquired the focus a month ago, was wandering if anybody had come across a similar problem ?

When putting the gas on, the revs can suddenly drop away for a split second, then return with a bang from the propshaft.

After a week it broke down while exiting motorway on slip road,

Limp mode kicked in, reducing speed dramatically,

Engine malfunction appeared with two tone alarm,

Traction light and information in red both illuminated all at the same time,

Breakdown guy reset it several times with no fault code, each time moving the car it would break down, so recoverd home.

Garage had it back, but can't do anything as it run ok for them..

Has broken down 3 times since, same odd misfire, and odd clanging when starting !

Would a ford diagnostics reveal a fault code ??

Anyone know where I might get a diagnostics inspection near to Marston Green area ?
