On my focus the immobiliser light flashes for 1 min and my car wont start, is there any way of overriding this?or how can i get my car started?

    Thats the whole point of immobiser, not be able to overide it, have you got another key to try?

    I'd say either the transponder chip in the key is shot, needs re-syncing to the car or that you have a fault with the transponder ring that sits around your ignition barrel.

    A decent Auto Locksmith would be a good place to start.
