True, I would prefer if we could shoot idiots on site



Reading this thread reminds me of when I passed my car driving test way back in the mists of time in March 1979, I've never forgotten my driving instructor's final words to me as we enjoyed a celebratory pint in the pub afterwards . . he said '' treat every other road user as an incompetent idiot & you'll be fine ''.

I took his advice & with some luck & good fortune I've been driving safely & incident free for 36 years.

I was also inspired to become a driving instructor, which I achieved in 1996 & enjoyed doing for 10 years.

That's always good advice, sadly I think the idiots have become more idiotic these days. I've had 3 incidents, one of which was my fault (only because the idiot floored it to head off the roundabout and then slammed his anchors on...) the other two were plebs who came into me exceeding 20mph
