Hi all

Need a bit of advice ....

Having a mid life crisis and brought and under seat sub .never had one before and just fancied it.

Sub fitted and wires part run with the radio out only to find the Haynes manual colour code is different to what on the back of the radio .

    I wired a sub into the original stereo and didn't sound too great tbh you are better to put an aftermarket stereo in :) a lot more adjustment too

    Did you have any problems wiring it up to the normal radio mines a 54 plate with a 4500 unit . The Haynes book covers 02 to 62 but there's only one wiring diagram for the radio.

    Can there only be one diagram for both types of radio

    Got at far as white and red and Grey and red is right front

    But to do the left the colours don't match the book

    I can use a 9 volt battery and 2 think peices of wires a touch the wires so when you hear a speaker pop you know you have located the two speaker wires for each speaker

    Just a quick update... in and fitted wasn't that bad once I got into it .

    Center dash is a pig to get out and back in .

    Just keep fiddling with the volume and gain :-)
