The o/s electric window on my Focus 1.8 tdci has stopped working , whats the best way to tell if its the switch or the motor.thanks

it had been dodgy for sometime and would stop working for an hour or so but would alway start working again for a few more months etc. :(

    sounds like a bad switch to me,

    Easiest way is to get the connector out and short the pins out with a wire if it goes down, its the switch
