Dab Radio On 2013 Mondeo Titanium X

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, good to join here and so apologies if this topic has been covered already. Up until six weeks or so ago, the DAB radio in my 2013 Mondeo worked fine. Then it just dropped everything for the DAB side of the radio, dropped all my channels, and I can't retune it. To all intents it is dead. The AM/FM channels aren't affected.

My local Ford dealer in Trowbridge booked it in for me today, saying it was a software issue and that "we will fix it". Having had the car for six hours, they have just called me to say that the equipment they have isn't "compatible" and therefore, I have no option but to wait for Ford to release a software update in order to get my radio working. I have a friend with a Mondeo who has this identical problem. Has anyone been able to overcome this problem? I find it crazy that Ford can sell a car with a DAB radio that won't work once the software becomes outdated. Not happy.....

Seems odd - mine's ok in both cars
