    Get it protected with some decent paint sealant & wax . then a quick blast with QD and you'll be good ;)

    Yeah at least having a fresh coat of polish makes it easier to clean on the day, as I found earlier today squashed insects basically fall off the paintwork after they're sprayed.

    Just to warn you guys the M1 is down to two lanes south of Sheffield. You should be ok early doors but it was bad delays when we came through

    It was good to meet you all and to see you again Nath. Maybe we'll do this again, but I might be tempted to stay nearby next time just to avoid the traffic nightmare.

    Nath did you get any good pics of the convoy and Ford Fair in general? I didn't really take any photos this time, but I might put together some dash cam footage especially when I was nearly wiped out by that Nissan Juke lol.

    I can recommend the Travelodge at Towcester.

    Handy McD's, Little Chef, Garage with M&S shop and car/jet wash.

    Rooms are cracking and staff are good.

    There were 9 or 10 clear parking spaces last night so I'd say a few spare rooms so if the show is at Silverstone next year it's well worth booking there and being only 3 miles up the road saves getting caught in traffic.

    I left for the show at 06.45 and was parked up by 07.20.
