Tow Bar 2010 Smax Led Lights??

Featured Replies

Hi there, i wonder if anyone can help. We have a 2010 SMAX titanium and are in the process of trying to get a tow bar fitted to tow a caravan. We are using a mobile technician who has been recommended to us but need to know if our model has the new LED rear lights. We have had a look ourselves but cannot tell. I believe they came in in 2010. Our car was first registered Nov 201, just not sure and how this will affect the tow bar. I will try an attach a photo if I can.

Thanks in advance, Dawn

you might find all the info you need on the etis site ?.

If you have the facelift (front drls) then you have LEDs. I think you will find the electrical connectikns for the towbar changed. On the MK1 all the block conne tors were behind the r/h rear inspection panel and it was plug & play with the propper ford kit. It seems from what i have read you need to bring wires (permanent / switched) over from the fusebox as its all different but i could be wrong.
