just finished restoring my mk 2 escort 1.6 ghia 4 door have put some pics up have put a lot of work into rebuilding this car here is a list of some of the work

full respray and new pannels were required

new windscreen rubbers rs type and door rubbers and window seals

removed all the chrome work on the car

m16 vented brakes with green stuff pads braided hoses

polly bushed full car

stainless exhaust

minilight style wheels 7" wide

gaz adjustable shocks front and rear

new bearings in rear diff and wheel bearings

new silicone hoses and braided fuel line

4 cibies on the front because you just have too

have spent a lot of time doing this up with lots of work just wanting to get some security on the car any ideas

That looks amazing.

The favoured security device on this forum at the moment seems to be a steering wheel lock. There is also a thread going discussing trackers.

Hi all im new on here as iv just inherited my late father in law escort 1.6 ghia 1976. Car has never been monified and he has always used it since feb this year. So will be looking for help in restoring it to A1 condition. 

The car was his pride and joy but it was just a car to him. 

Im in middle of regesting it under my name. 

Where is the best place to insure the car ?
