Ecoboost / Econetic

Featured Replies

Your exactly right ^^

My June 2013 Titanium 125 has the Econetic badge. As stated above the Ecoboost badge wasn't put on until towards end of 2013.

Mine's a 2013 Titanium Fiesta 100PS with 16 inch wheels and it's badged Ecoboost and its first registered date is 25.3.13.

Retro fitted?

Exactly as it came from the factory.

Weird lol

Mine is a Fiesta zetec s 2015 (15 plate) and it has ecoboost on the back. hope this can help. would be interesting to find out how many ecoboosts their are in comparison to econetic...

Revival of old thread - something I was thinking about today...

Mines a fully kitted 62 plate 1.6 Ecoboost 182 (Petrol) and has Econetic on the back. - shame as I see all the newer ones with Ecoboost. I might get around to changing it!

Wasn't Econetic akin to VW's Blue Motion?  According to Wiki there was briefly a model in each vehicle range with the Econetic branding, slightly lighter, different tyres, minor aero mods, different engine oil etc.  Wasn't a huge seller so the idea was dropped.

I think that econetic stands for diesel engines...

I have the focus 1.6t petrol econetic 2012 plate. There is some differences between this and the 2015 ecoboost. Ride eight is 1 a few engine differences also like the loop back technology on the exhaust hence the nig bore lookalike.. I'm assuming the ecoboost name came about after they reduced the engine to a 1.5 instead of the 1.6
