I`ve got a constant squeaky noise from engine bay which i think is an alternator fault as it will increase when i use electric window etc. or anything that uses too much current. Any easy diagnosis please!!??

    you sure the problem is with the alternator?

    not saying it isnt BUT,

    check the fuse box inside the engine compartment,know issue to over heat,hence the alternator could be working overtime?

    or it may require a new pully on the alternator itself.
