sp7_91
Looks good mate! Any chance of a video to see how loud it is from inside the car?
E5GDM
I've done a video from outside but don't know how to post it. I'll do one from inside tomorrow, but I can tell you it's definitely more 'booming' & rasping, but not excessive for someone like me that's to old to be a boy racer. The guys that fitted it were impressed with the build quality of the exhaust, & it went on with no problems.
sp7_91
Might be best to upload to YouTube and link it. But sounds up my street, any drown at motorway speed?
Phil 87
Following this so I can check it out later - work's internet blocks everything so I can't see it.

Phil 87
Sounds beautiful :) Where did you take it to have it fitted, and what did they charge? I was quoted about £55 to have it done at the local Ford dealer (0.7 hours labour). Also do you know if they had to cut the old exhaust to get it off, or is it possible to keep it? (could be worth selling)
E5GDM
Does get a bit 'boomy' between 3500 - 4000 rpm, but I can live with that. I took it to the local tyre & exhaust centre & they charged me £65. The original exhaust has to be cut to clear the rear 'axle', but is easily put back if needed using a sleeve to bridge the cut.
CREED
Looks and sounds good up close, any chance of drive by video? I'd be interested to see what to it sounds like at normal speeds and also going full pelt to bystanders. How much of a change do you notice to the sound in the cabin? E5GDM
Just done my longest journey so far with the new cat back, & the noise is a fare bit intrusive in the cabin (as I said above) between 3500 - 4000 under acceleration. But it sounds gorgeous from 4000 to the red line at 6000 (ish). Would love to do the 'drive by vids, but will struggle to do them.
sp7_91
So it's not too loud at day motorway speeds then?

CREED
Would love to do the 'drive by vids, but will struggle to do them. Fair play, how's the sound when under load, any pops or bangs? :D
E5GDM
None I've noticed so far, just sounds louder & more 'sporty'. As I've said before it's a bit 'boomy' between 3500 - 4000 rpm, even starts to hurt the ears a bit (that could just be because I'm old now), But all in all sounds really nice, especially when giving it some through the gears to the red line.
Phil 87
At least when you're going above 3500 revs that's only for a moment while you're accelerating, and as long as it's not too loud under 3k then it won't be a problem. I really want it but trying to be sensible with my money lol, too many other expenses coming up like holidays and new tyres :(

I definitely like the sound, even without it popping, and as Phil said noise above 3500 isn't the worse thing in the world. Unfortunately I can't afford it :P
dmizz93
Any donations welcome. Will be setting up a crowdfunder project for everyone to contribute to, I'll let you all deafen me when I take consistently take it to the red line ;) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
Phil 87
Unfortunately I can't afford it :P Join the club lol. Also it's out of stock again so at least that removes the temptation to just stick it on the credit card.
