2010 Focus 1.6 Tdci Engine Malfunction & Non Starter

Featured Replies

Hi my girlfriends focus is acting up again its a 2010 1.6 tdci while driving engine malfunction comes up on the dash then 3 seconds later the car stalls then may or may not restart. I have had it with 2 mechanics for a week each first one said he thinks its a sensor overheating but could not say which one. The 2nd one changed the fuel metering vale on the pump and it worked great for a week and then back to square one. I did a leak test today and 2 injectors where about even but one was high and another was low (SEE PICTURE) not sure what this means. Fault codes that come are p2290 and p0087. I am thinking the fuel pump is knackered any help and advice would be very greatfull

Thanks in advance
