Hi folks,

First time on here so hopefully you can help me. My wife has a 2007 Focus automatic and when you are pulling up to stop anywhere there is like a small thump coming from underneath the car and when you just have the engine running every now and then it vibrates more than it should. Any thoughts on this?

    as its an auto it could be a lumpy gear change on the autobox, when was it last serviced (gearbox)

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I don't think the gearbox has ever been serviced by my Mrs. Regular/normal servicing done once a year but that's about it. It's due a new t/belt and water pump now so I'll get that taken care of.

    No worries, get the gearbox flushed and refilled with a new filter that should hopefully improve the handling.
