Mondeo Hatch Vs Focus Estate

Featured Replies

Right, I've been looking for a new ford for a few weeks now. The family is expanding and we have lots of UK holiday breaks so need that extra space (Boot mainly) than my 2006 Focus is giving.

Ive seen the following and I'm torn between the two:

Ford Mondeo 1.6 TDCi Eco Zetec 5 door [start Stop] 27,000 Miles

Ford Focus Estate 1.6 125 Zetec 5dr 34,000 Miles

Both the same price.

The Focus estate offers just a little bit more boot space but the mondeo has a lot more tech.

The mondeo will give way more MPG and big tax saving.

Its seems a no brainer - The mondeo by plenty. But the focus interior (although it has less tech) is a lot neater looking, very impressive. Plus the Focus is on sale on my doorstep from a main Ford dealer just 5 mins drive and offering free MOTS for life. The Mondeo is 1 Hour 10 mins away (Could be a lot of messing about if it was to go back within the warranty)

So apart from the obvious above any advice?
