Drivers Door Won't Unlock

Featured Replies

After using the central locking button on the key fob, the driver's door is still locked. I have tried unlocking the door just using the key but it still won't unlock. can anyone give me some advice on how to unlock the door. I have a 'Y' reg. focus Ghia hatchback. Thank you. Danny

Does it open from the inside? Is the rest of the central locking working?

No, the driver's door doesn't open from the inside. When using the Central Locking to lock the car, all 4 doors are locked. When using the Central Locking to unlock the car, the Driver's Door stays locked. I had a flat battery, after charging it I put it back onto the car, used the Central Locking and now when I have tried to unlock it, this problem has occurred.

Thanks for Your Reply, Kind Regards, Danny

try looking inside the drivers side door card and check all the wiring and the mechanisim
