Hi,

Today I have purchased a 64 plate Ford Fiesta Zetec Ecoboost and I am having issues with getting my Ford SYNC to connect with Spotify on my Samsung Galaxy Alpha. All phone and text features work fine, so it just seems to be an issue with connecting to applications.

After reading up online it looks like I may need to have my software updated. I am following a guide that says I need to register for a Ford Sync owners account to do this, however the link takes me to a registration form that requires me to enter a ZIP code, something that I don't have being from the UK.

The Ford UK site says I will need to visit a dealer for this as manual USB installation will be an option in the future.

I have seen a few posts on here where UK based Ford owner have update their SYNC themselves, so I am wondering how I can get around the issue with registering for an account?
