Morning all.

I've had this squeaky clutch for a while now. Had a guy look at it who said it's absolutely no problem with the clutch at all and in full working order.

I just hate hearing it, it doesn't sound nice. Any ideas?

Also recently, I've noticed my clutch stiff and making a funny noise going from 4th to 2nd. It's working fine, it just doesn't feel right.

The car's only done 52,000.

Any ideas?

    I had a squeaky clutch before but I think that was on my old MK6, and when I took it to a garage they fixed it by lubricating something, not sure which part exactly. As for the stiff gears it could be related, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable on here can help you.

    If I were you I'd take it to a Ford dealer / other garage and see if they can give you a quote to fix it, assuming they won't charge just to diagnose it.

    The gears seemed fine this morning .

    The clutch continues to squeak.

    I think i will take it to the ford garage and see what they say.

    As I said a guy at a local garage said the clutch is in full working order.

    Anyone else had similar problems ?
