S Max Problem

Featured Replies

Hi guys my s max titanium x sport 240ps seem to have developed a problem where a few weeks ago I pulled away from the lights fairly quick and hit 3000rpm and it died. It did this about 3 times then seem ok. Now it doesn't seem as quick through the gears as if the turbo isn't boosting properly and it also doesn't hit the redline anymore! It will only Rev to about 5800/6000 rpm then automatically changes gear even when in sport mode. It's been to my local ford dealer who have said they can't find any faults in the memory bank but I know that it doesn't drive how it did when I purchased it!!! Any suggestions???

Ford have done a power train control unit reset but to be honest I don't really notice any difference.
