Just lumped for a 09 Focus 1.6 Zetec S which is absolutely immaculate apart from the surround trim around the gear box that extends back to the arm rest.......does anyone know if i can replace this, and if so where can i source and how much? I have done the normal internet searches for a newbie motor head.....but not had much luck to date. Any help much appreciated. Thanks. Andy

    I presume you mean the plastic trim around the centre console? These can be found on eBay and the likes for a reasonable amount.

    They are a doddle to swap.

    Two screws under the armrest front trim to telease the handbrake surround which then lifts forwards and off.

    Unclip the gearstick surround from the back (side facing you) and unscrew the knob counter-clockwise to remove knob and gaiter.

    Reach underneath to unplug the front 12v socket (or start button if fitted).

    One screw in the base of the cup holder tray.

    Lift from the back and unhook front from lower dash housing.

    Refit in reverse.
