I am having problems with a 1.8i zetec fitted with EEC 4 ecu wich is not running good it will not idle and will not take the throttle well if you rev it at 3000 it runs smooth but at lower revs it gets very lumpy can any one shed any light on this problem

the engine is fitted in a quantum don't know it's mileage it cam from an xr3i the EEC 4 is the type of ecu fitted
