Hi guys,

Looking to replace the aerial as the thing is naffed. It doesn't detach nor does it seal very well against the wettest elements. I am looking at about 50 quid for a replacement but instead I'm thinking of a shark fin variety instead.

What's your thoughts? To an extent, shark fin on the front seems odd, but is it ludicrous?

    I don't think shark fin would look right at the front.

    Surely the signal will be awful if it is designed to have a full length aerial?

    Indeed, though I have a cunning plan...

    Must admit I am reluctant, but I want the aerial to detach so I can be lazy with a car wash, at the moment it's all stuck together

    I'm thinking of getting one for the focus too.. Luckily the Ariel is on the back though 😊 have no idea what's the best ones to get

    the cheap ones can be bad, some can be good though. I gave up with it as I sourced a replacement unit.

    Haven’t found a single shark fin that will fit my 2018 EcoSport Titanium because the roof has ridges. The existing aerial has a shaped base with moulded rubber to make a good fit. All shark fins have flat bottom that would look really naff and not be watertight
