The only way in the Haynes manual that doesn't involve pressing a clutch pedal requires a 'pressure-bleeding kit.'

This is from the clutch section in said manual, which according to the Durashift section is the same as the clutch on a 'normal' manual transmission Fusion but with electrical and electro-hydraulic actuators to enable automatic operation.

Hope that helps in some way!

We have just had our clutch actuator repaired, and my husband tried cleaning and replacing before we sent it off. For bleeding he used a 50ml syringe with a tube attached, and just kept sucking the fluid from the bleed nipple, and topping up the fluid up at the top. I have just read on another thread that someone else did the same, but also squirted fluid in through the nipple also. Our clutch actuator is due back today, and he will fit it over the weekend. I hope it solves the problem, as I love my Fusion
