Ambient Lighting

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just bought a fiesta zetec and I come across ambient lighting. I have worked out now that I have a red led strip above the glove box which looks amazing in the dark, but after some invertergation on the internet I see that other models have ambient led lights in the foot wells. Usually ford fit all there models with the wire looms and don't tell you so I'm looking for some help. I do have the normal bulbs in the wells but they are the convenience lights and go off when I close the door.

Has my car got the wiring loom for ambient lighting in the foot wells?

If so is it easy to fit bulbs in the foot wells?

The only places the ambient lighting are in is,

Above the glovebox

Under the door handles above the door pocket

Cupholders in the centre console

Courtesy lights shining onto the gearstick area.

You may not have all of the above, the footwell lights when fitted come on when you open the door and they are not on all the time.
