Help Needed Please !!!

Hi everyone I need some help desperately my 2002 Ford Focus 1.6 all of a sudden after I parked the car up after work and returned the next morning the central locking had stopped working which I just assumed it was the battery on the key as I was driving to work I put the indicator on to turn left and nothing happened no ticking noise no light on the dash I then pressed my hazards to see if they worked... Nothing I've taken it to halfords auto centres they couldn't find the fault they checked all the fuses and stuff however said the alternator wasn't creating full power to the battery I asked if this would stop the indicators and other electrical from working he said not and said I should visit an auto electrition but they was fully booked up for a week now the battery is fully dead and to be honest the car isn't worth much so don't really want to be spending a fortune does anyone know what this fault could be would be much appreciated thanks josh

A low power battery can cause all kinds of problems. Google about testing alternator output on your Focus and you will be able to do a simple test yourself with a multimeter to see if the alternator is knackered.

check ALL of your earth points as just one loose one can cause a number of electrical gremlins.
