Very Strange Aircon Issue

Featured Replies

Hello, I have an S max 2009 2.0 TDCI and have a very strange problem with the heaters/aircon.

The aircon will only work on the passenger side and the heaters will only work on the drivers side, The three vents on the dash the one on the left is always cold and the other two in the middle and on the right are always warm.

I have had a diagnostic one and it comes up with U3006 Control module input power A???

Any ideas please.

Sounds like a faulty eatc unit, though my colleague had a slightly similar issue, apparently a recirculation pipe temperature sensor was screwed, replaced and seemed to improve.

Had a similar problem on my 09 Fiesta, luckily while it was under warranty as they had to replace an expensive EATC component.
