Evening all - new member from Lancashire.

Only been driving three months and in my infinite wisdom decided to buy a 2011 (61 reg) Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4L (automatic).

However, I haven't had the best of starts as I've already had a puncture (2 months ago), someone has scraped/scuffed the side of my car - not really bad but because it's a metallic paint it presents its own problems plus there's a couple of dints, oh and not to mention numerous people hell-bent on running me off the road!

Been quoted £280 to sort out the dints and scrape/scuff. :( Really ought to have gone for an older model...

Genuinely thought I would enjoy driving but being entirely honest, I don't and part of me regrets buying a car!

    It gets better, so hang in there...having a car can be expensive but have you seen the price of a weekly bus pass nowadays?!

    I had similar problems in my early driving days (like a fight with a trolley). But what you pay out for your car you get back in time, as in minutes/hours eachday. For example it takes someone I know nearly 2hrs to get to where I work on the bus..takes me 25mins in car!
