Dtc Code 9202 Fuel Light Stays On.

Featured Replies

Hi guys my focus fuel light stays on and gauge does not move the Dtc code is 9202 which means fuel sender open circuit I have googled what this actually means but can't find the answer

It means the wiring is broken, short circuit ed or too high voltage, it normally needs checking over and the wires securing.

I would strongly advise following my guide and getting focom working with a modded cable. You can do a lot of work watching resistance as you check the difference as you move the wires.

if you have got a multimeter, remove instrument cluster and check for resistance/open circuit on pins 7 and 8 on connector plug

, next will be dropping tank and checking resistance at sender unit end. sounds like the resistor card on sender unit broke to me though.
