1994 Ford Escort Equipe 1.4 Petrol. Dark metallic green, manual, 4-door saloon. Only two owners since new. Good runner but failed MOT (front brakes require attention and in need of welding to one front seat belt floor location) - suitable for renovation project or spares. Mileage: 92,600.

    Thanks for the welcome - I have to confess that I am hoping that this site will find a new home for my husbands much loved old Escort Equipe. He once hoped to keep it forever, but now due to health problems he is no longer able to care for or work on it. We have had Ford cars for the majority of our 41 years together. Starting with the Mk1 Cortina, then Mk3 Cortina, then Mk5 Cortina, then Escort Equipe, then Scorpio and lastly Mondeo. Parting with the Escort will be the last of our Fords, so very sad, but really don't want to see it go to the breakers .....

    Hi thanks for that - I have today also posted the car in "Club Cars For Sale" and have asked £100 for it and the location (Warwickshire) is shown on the left beneath my name, so I hope that will be sufficient info for anyone that may be interested. Thanks again.
