Car Stereo Wiring Adapter Focus Zetec 2002

Featured Replies

Hi

My first post on here. Can anyone help me with trying to sort out the stereo on the wife's car.

It's a Focus Zetec, 2002, hatchback.

The original 6000CD RDS EON wouldn't pick up radio so Ive fitted a spare Phillips CEM2000 model instead. It has 2 standard iso connections on rear.

I ordered the adapter in pic 1, but it only partially fits. The radio and cd works fine, but lose all settings when once switched off.

Pic 2 shows the 3 connectors from the cars wiring loom.

The bottom red one I think is to do with the stalk. I currently have this one disconnected.

The middle yellow one fits OK

The top black/red on only partially fits. there's 6 leads going in but only 5 coming out. I suspect the missing one is a power lead? It's shorter than the yellow connector.

I looked online for ages but can't seem to find the right adapter and am going round in circles.

can anyone help me?

Thanks

Steve

You are an absolute !Removed! star. Just quickly nipped out, swapped em round, and hey presto.

That'll keep her happy for a bit:)

Big thanks.

Steve
