Please Help!! Drivers Seat Bar That Allows The Seat To Move Backwards And Forwards Has Snapped Off!

Featured Replies

Hi all, im not sure what the part is called but its the metal bar under the seat that you pull up to adjust your seat forwards and backwards, its completely snapped off and now i cant move my seat. What is this part called? How do i fix it? And can i move my seat without it for the time being. Thank you!

Can it be welded back in place? Failing that then source another seat base at a breakers/scrapyard.

Hi, thank you for your reply Wes. I will try to get it welded back on and check scrap yards too.

I would replace it, welding is good, but if its brittle for another reason you will probably find it snaps off at a different position?
