a dirty air filter!

I pulled mine last week to change it - knowing full well Ford wouldnt have changed it in the service, got it out, and it was dirty but in comparison to some I have changed, it wasnt all that bad.

Threw a new one in, and the MPG is going up, the efficiency and responsiveness too!

I expected that to be the case anyway, but you tend to forget just how much benefit there is as you adjust to the cars current behavior!

    Changed mine the other week - again, didn't look too bad - but the engine is certainly more responsive. Can't comment on the MPG - spent a lot of time towing a big trailer around lol

    Yeah it's a small price but worth it. It really is a shame the fuel filter is a bit more difficult. If only that could be a pull out and plug in Job without having to plumb it in.
