Unfortunately parts catalogues only tended to start from around 81 - so you would be looking at contacting specialist dealers for the parts. as for the manuals, one or two may exist with such dealers, but they dont tend to be found in many places!

Your best bet is finding a specific classic escort club, the other owners may have what you need and could provide a copy.

What sort of parts are you after, ie, rally spec or oem sort of stuff, and when you say manual do you mean owners handbook or haynes workshop manual? as I have a haynes manual for a mk1

Best bet is Ebay or autojumbles.

hello-from a newbie.

I have a complete FORD PARTS CATALOGUE-for the mk1 escort.its a big old binder type/ file way before the microfiche era

got it from the ford dealership when they threw them away in the fiche era.[early 70's]

it covers everything you can imagine [all except engines]-that must of been a separate catalogue I recall !!!!!!!

weighs in at a heavy 10lbs[4.5kgs]
