    Vague post is vague... A 1600 Sport what? I haven't got the inclination to run a check on the plate to find out what exactly you are on about, but if it is an Escort Mk2 you want to speak to Pink Panther, if it is anything else then someone in the know may know a thing or two.

    I am going to go with the first bit of advice about buying any Ford though, as although I am cranky, I want to be helpful. Check for rust. Everywhere. Rust is a plague of many a Ford, and checking everywhere is crucial.
