hi there i have a 1.6 focus mk2 2005 thinking about puttin a st170 engine in has anybody done it and what probs am i going to have was going to use the gearbox whats in car instead on st 6 speed st one.. what fly wheel and clutch could i use what other problems am i going to have wiring and ecu i can sort just to get in the engine bay any info would be greatfully recived thanks people

    In order for you to recieve the best advise on this:

    I recommend joining focusownersclub.com they have alot of mk1 owners on there,

    Wasnt many on the forum though.

    what model of Focus MK2 do you have? you have to consider engine mounting, wiring, turbos, insurance cost, purchase price.

    In all honesty, unless you have money to spare, your best bet is to PX your current motor and get something closer to what you want. Otherwise, to do this, your probably looking at a few grand at least.
