hi guys, i 'm kyle from south Devon and have recently got me a MK1 2001 focus as a basic run around. i am partly disabled and after the mrs fecking off and taking the car i had to go out and get something on the real cheap side (sub £500) to try and tide me over for poss 12 to 18 month max. only my 3rd ever ford in 20 year, 1st was a mk1 escort rs 2000, 2nd was a mondeo and now i have this focus, normally i am used to driving the likes of the land rover discovery etc, but as i say i needed a cheap car just to get me back and forward to hospital and also so i can do a longish run every 2 weeks so i can see my son. so unless there is no choice at all i hope to be able to do any and all work that may need doing on it myself, but unfortunately will have to do on a shoe string untill i can sort things out in my life again.

so please forgive the amount of questions i may ask over time as although i grew up in a garage environment most of my child hood it has been a while since i got under the bonnet.
