First Car Insurance For Mk5 Zetec S?

Featured Replies

So i turn 17 in a few and i have my mind set on driving a fiesta with several different options on the table. One particular (if possible) is a 1999-2002 mk5 fiesta zetec s. And im just wondering whether anyone knows the rough price for insurance for a first time driver with this model at my age and whether this is a ludacris idea (comes up as group 17 imsurance as its 1.6)

I suggest you input your details & those of the car on go compare or similar insurance comparison websites & see what prices crop up

If money is an issue give Tesco Black Box a try with quotes. I know you probably don't want a black box because of the big brother aspect but tesco are completely different from the other companies.

Others will basically say Drive well and we reduce premium (never do) and drive badly we raise it and punish you (most certainly do). Tesco works on a 6k, 8k or 10k mile policy and you can earn up to 1.2k bonus miles a year if you drive well. if you drive badly it might effect your renewal with them(cannot confirm) but they do not punish you at all and do not pass your "driving score" onto other companies apparently. I can confirm this because someone at my workplace is with them and all his scores are red, he regularly drives at 120mph+ and aggressively.

I've had a black box with them for over a year and never really notice its there. The benefits i see are cheaper premium, active gps tracker in case your car is stole. Also if you crash and no ones about the box should pick it up. If they call you and you don't answer they will send emergency services. (could help save a life maybe). Plus they allow quite a few mods without raising the premium strangely.

Tesco were the only blackbox i considered as others are ridiculous and have curfews etc and punish you.

Hi

Feel free to try us for insurance if you like.

If you wanted to PM me your details I would be happy to arrange a call back from our quotes team to see what we can do.

Kind regards

Dan.
