Focus Estate Roof Bars- Do They Need Covers???

Hello

I have a focus estate 2006

When I got it the roof rail bars have not got any covers or shields that clip into them, I mean rain could get in there and just pool in one corner.

I have scoured the web looking if they have covers but most pictures I see seem to have none. Here is picture of what I am talking about

Any help would be much appreciated
