I am wondering if anybody can give me a little advice.

My Focus has just about reached the end of it's active life, and I have a provisional deposit down on a Fiesta 1.4 D Titanium. It is on a 2011 plate and has just under 25,000 on the clock. It appears to be very tidy, and was a demo car then has had one owner.

It drives well, and is very clean inside and out. The Service history isn't with the car, and has been lost, I have advised the Garage that I will only purchase the car with a FSH. They have contacted the previous owner, and she has given them the details of the two garages who she used, and copies of the invoices have been promised. I am happy to purchase the car if the invoices can be supplied proving that the servicing was carried out.

The Manual is also missing from the car. I know that the Service interval is 12,500 miles or annually, and I am expecting it to have had 3 Services. Could somebody please confirm that this is correct?

When test driving it, the oil Needs changing light was illuminated, so I expect that it is ready for a Service.

The Garage have advised that the car will receive a Service before it leaves. I have yet to clarify exactly what this, but I am not expecting it to be a full 25k Service. Could somebody please confirm what a full 25k Service should entail? Also, does anybody have any recommendations of good garages in the Derby/Notts/Leics border (Long Eaton, Sandiacre, Loughborough etc)

When the Service history arrives, I will return to the Garage and dip the car for oil, and make sure that there is some in there.

The car did not start and had to be jumped, I am not sure if that may have tripped the Computer, causing the warning light to come on.

The thing is there are thousands of similar Fiestas around so I would have thought you can find another that has none of these problems. Or is this one at a particularly low price?
