I have the basic Air Con controls in my '11 Fiesta Zetec S but looking at adding the one with digital climate control one... Would this be plug and play?

Not sure just the switchgear alone will work properly as there's a huge difference between basic a/c & proper climate control ?

It won't work as far as I know. The internals of the climate control is different to the standard system, so you would probably have to swap more parts. Sounds like the kind of job that would be very difficult and expensive for very little gain.

I did look into a little more and found out it wont be a plug and play job. Turns out they have heat detectors etc, as said too much work for little gain. I'm now debating if to sell up my Fiesta and get a Focus, thinking about future life... But not sure if to get a Focus ST or a Zetec S - not too sure if to wait a little as not too keen on the interior of the Zetec S and not had chance to properly look at a Focus ST.

Any tips would be great.

you need the climate control sensor installed and wired, the gem board needs to be configured to support it and you need the full system in the switch as well.
