It's a double din, yeah. Lenny uses its bigger brother and he's impressed with the Pioneer range too. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.pioneerelectronics

Kieran has tge same model of fiesta so he can show you where he run his cables,

You need to run RCA down drivers side and power cable down passenger side to avoid white noise on the sub

Will lose you massive amounts of street credit

Yeah thanks! I'll see if my friend can show me as well! Dad has a rough idea but not sure if he knows! That amazon link for the radio, dunno if I should buy because will it be unused! I'm talking about the 2700

Pioneer would still have stock of the 2700 if it says its new condition then it would be.

You will also need an iso adator cable to convert the fiesta loom to aftermarket, simple plug&play process

my friend literally just sent me that haha

Try Dynamic Sounds.co.uk

There generally cheapest uk supplier of headunits

Soundevo.co.uk is cheapest for speakers,

Caraudiodirect.co.uk is generally most expensive even Halfords would be like "Damnn thats pricey!!"

my friend literally just sent me that haha

Rolling the bass

Hahaha!!! Thanks!!! Also while on the subject! Do any of you guys know how to install a bypass for the headunit ??

  • Author

The radio is 6 pound more on that site but should I just go for them anyways??

Hahaha!!! Thanks!!! Also while on the subject! Do any of you guys know how to install a bypass for the headunit ??

A bypass as in handbrake? I may have installed one.

On the newer Pioneer units, mine included, a relay is necessary to bypass this. Unlike older units were you could simply earth the handbrake sensor from the headunit.

I had to import one from the USA which in the end cost me around £20 I think?

3 wires. Switched signal wire, Ground & handbrake sensor from head unit. Job done

I hardwired this into the loom as I bypassed the head unit whilst running my signal to the amps. I spliced into the cars loom for that. That left the wires I needed free from clutter so out came the solder

Up to you when you order the head unit! . I'll get you a link to the relay tomorrow. Took about 20-30 days to arrive!

You Can play video from DVD as soon as either 1.) The handbrake is on or 2.) The relay Is wired in.

But to play video from USB, you must active the units DIVX device number. Free to do but easily overlooked

Well I'd like it to be fitted with the relay before 19th September as I've got to go on a long drive! The relay take long to fit?? And how do I do the divx?

The relay takes maximum 20 minutes to securely connect assuming you've basically knowledge of wiring.. its colour coded so blue to blue, black to black etc.

When you get the headunit, look in the settings. You'll find an activation code. Enter it in their site. Done

Okay! So once I fit the headunit! Is it much pain of taking it back out to fit the relay or is it easy enough? And okay that sounds easy

It comes with removal tools. Simply slide them in the side, wiggle & pull. Then unplug if necessary
