Hi, all.

My name is David and I have owned my 1985 Escort 1.6 Ghia since 1988. It's been off the road for the last decade or so, festering away on my parents' driveway so I'm sorry to say it's reached the end of the road. I'll post something about it in the appropriate forum.

We also have a 1999 Focus 1.8 Zetec 3 door which is still tidy and great fun to drive - we'll try to keep it going as long as possible.

    Well, what a couple of weeks. The Escort has been scrapped and on Wedesday my wife called to say she'd had a smash in the Focus. She's fine and no-one was hurt, but the car's a write off. It only had 55k on the clock too...
