I've got a 2015 fiesta, before it I had a 2013 fiesta - both had/have the usb port, ting is when I plug in a usb stick I have to turn the thing upside down for it to fit in correctly.

I've got a plain white stick and a ladybug stick, the lady bug goes in upside down so instead of looking at the pattern I'm looking at the manufacturers marks

Is this normal, and do you think they'd turn it the right way up under warranty?

I did not know that there was an upside down when it came to USB sockets. I always seem to choose the wrong way the first time. How can you tell the correct way to plug it in ?

Usually a usb stick has a right way up and a wrong way up, for instance in my ladybug usb stick case the right way up it's a ladybug, the wrong way up its a black outline

Edit: on the laptop the pattern on its usb stock is the right way up, so it's not the case of a upside down stick

There is no upside down to a USB stick... just depends on which way the connector is attached at manufacture.
