liking the recaros I take it they are out of a st? if so where they a straight swap as im tempted to change my seats for the recaro ones at some point if I can find a decent set at a good price.would  Asume I would have to let my incurrence know

Yeah they are a straight swap, all focus seats are interchangeable they obviously came out of a hatch and mines a saloon and mine fitted into the hatch it's quite a simple swap. I've seen these cloth recaros go for £100 when they need a clean but I'd expect to pay £150-200 for a decent set. I really wanted the leather recaros but they start from £400 and I'd of never paid it. Probably my favourite mod I've done to it feels like a different car sitting in those seats and makes it look loads better. The wife took it out shopping earlier and she came back saying how nice they are, she loved the leather recaros we had in our old mondeo st200 too.

Sold my fabia vrs a few weeks ago and bought the wife a facelift cmax titanium in black.

Really nice but the wheels let it down as they needed a refurb so I bought a set of st wheels with good tyres that needed a refurb and decided to put my wheels on hers and I'd have the st wheels.

This is how I got them [emoji51]

Sanded and primed

Sprayed in anthracite

All done and lacquered with new centre caps

So I put new valves in and blew them up and balanced them etc. Put them on my car and my titanium x wheels onto the cmax and wasn't keen [emoji22][emoji22] it looked so much better on the titanium wheels I think these age it

Had these on a week and they didn't grow on me so I found a set of bare titanium x wheels about a hour away that were in pretty good nick but they were more black so I went and picked them up and gave them a quick colour change to anthracite. They haven't got the diamond cut bit that my old wheels had but they will look better than the st wheels!!

How I got them

Done in anthracite, I also sorted the centre caps so the nut bit is chrome as it's meant to be

Ordered 4 brand new tyres and stubby valves

Went to my mates garage and fitted the tyres and balanced them all then got them on the car, looks loads better than the st wheels I'm glad I went and got these. Slightly darker than my original ones and hasn't got the diamond cut rim but I think they look just as good. Also put some universal 5mm spacers on the rear I had lying about.

And one of the cmax with matching wheels, really needs a wash as the wheels looks dull from when I took them off mine filthy

Looking nice mate, I have the same ST wheels you had and I'm in 2 minds weather to keep them myself, they look nice but am tempted to swap

How can you tell if one of your coils is 'dead'? Can it be done on the front coils? Any mot implications?

liking the new wheels fella and love the colour change you done. looks a nice tidy c max you bought the mrs and your old wheels suite it well

Love the titanium x alloys...I also like St 220 alloys...but harder to clean..I can get my hands inside the tit x alloys so the innard looks as clean as the face[emoji8]

can you recall the size of your air filter and where did you get the re map do you have a print out i do like the wheels and i think i need your springs the arch gap on my focus sport is massive
