Hi, I have just accidentally become a 2003 Fiesta owner, My last ford was a Cortina Mk4 2,0 Ghia so there is a very big gap in my ford ownership.

    I went to look at a car for a friend because it wouldn't start. I pinned it down to a flat battery, they said it was less than a year old, i asked how often they used the car because if left sitting for a while the battery will gradually drain. They decided that they obviously didn't use the car enough and told me just to take it away or they were going to scrap it. It is way to good to scrap so I am going to sort it and use it as my city car. It will be much more economical than my Saab in the town.

    My last Ebay fail was a Yamaha FZ 750, actually turned out to be a fun adventure in the end.

    First challenge with the Fiesta is getting the bonnet to open, not working off the release at the moment but I'm sure it won't be too big a challenge, then a check over and sort whatever is needed for the MOT which has just expired.
