Lost Gb Sticker... In Europe

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

So I'm mid-way through a road trip around europe (hitting switzerland in a couple of days) but my GB sticker which I had on my car (magnetic) has fallen off! This may have been when I was doing 110 on the autobahn, but I can't be sure ;)

Now, any suggestions where I might find a GB sticker for my car considering I'm now not in GB? Currently in Germany.

Thanks! :D

get some black tape and put on car same as GB haha

I wouldn't bother to be honest - I've been driving around Europe for years without a sticker and never been bothered by anyone (no GB on the number plate either).

You can ditch those etherol tests they try to sell you on the boat to France as well - they are legally required in France but there is no penalty for not having them! I do have a hi viz vest, red triangle and first aid kit though as that's just common sense. They insist on having a full set of spare bulbs but the fact you need a pretty complete toolkit to fit them makes that useless.

I went to tourist information and paid a whole euro to print one off! I'll stick it in the back window and it'll have to do lol.

I doubt I'd get stopped as you say, but better safe than sorry!
